Echizen is the name of an area in Japan where the washi base paper is produced, and has a history spanning over 1500 years. ILFORD’s new original coating technology adds another dimension to the washi range, with a stunning sparkle effect.

Due to the unique coating characteristics of this paper (shimmer/sparkle effect) it may be necessary to increase image density 10% to 20% using tone curve adjustments. Further adjustments may also be required for colour matching.
